In the remote desert of Peru, huge symbolic designs were etched into the sand by an ancient civilization. They are so large, they can only be seen from high in the air. For many, however, there were no elevated positions from which to view them! It is symbolically significant that this culture had no written language.
An astute reader noticed that the author pictured on the back cover of the book is wearing a Peruvian sweater!
